Pernils Bufalvent received in Brussels, for the second consecutive year, the prize credited as producer of the best Jamon Serrano history

  • Bufalvent has become the world best manufacturer in its category, the first and only Jamon Serrano in history that gets the most international awards for quality and taste. “The considered 3 star Michelin food.”

On Thursday, June 11, 2015. Pernils Bufalvent recived for the second consecutive year a diploma with 3 stars, the highest rating, at the Gala Awards “iTQi Superior Taste Award ‘. The only stamp of quality in taste and quality awarded by opinion leaders, Chefs and Sommeliers Michelin star.

On Thursday June 4, in Brussels Gala awards iTQi 2015. Mª Carmen González (company manager) and Cristià Corcoy (Master chacinero) had the honor to receive from the hands of the most prestigious organization worldwide diploma that certifies them as responsible for producing the best ham in history. Until now other types of Hams had itself gotten so coveted award, but never a Serrano ham.

The award is not only the recognition of a final product, but a whole masterpiece that is carefully hand selected under the management of Mª Carmen González, offers all those distributors both internationally and nationally seeking a strategic partner to provide Serrano hams and whole pallets, pitted and sliced with its own brand distribution.

Also for the second consecutive year, the official event was preceded by a reception at the initiative of Pernils Bufalvent, Du Sablon NH Hotel in the Belgian capital. The exhibition recognise Spanish companies that were awarded with oil and beer stars iTQi.

By the Spanish government responsible for the ICEX (Institute for Foreign Trade of Spain), José María Fernández, Economic and Commercial Counselor of the Embassy of Spain in Belgium headed the list of personalities.
