Meat experts tradition with company name

Pernils Bufalvent is an industrial company with a family caracter, created in 1989 and located in Manresa, Barcelona. Its productive activity is intended to provide the service selection, salting, drying of hams and pork shoulders.

Bufalvent vocation began in 1950 when Pere Corcoy, Maestro meat expert, worked in the curing of hams. Later in that same company, at the tender age of 16 was joined with Jose Zambudio. They both realized they shared a common vision for the art of cured ham, quality and taste. These values encouraged them to team up and give rise to one of the leading producers in the sector of cured Spanish hams.

Over the years after a marriage between Zambudio and Gonzalez, Jose and Maria Carmen, managers and management, together with Cristià Picola Corcoy, nephew of Pere Corcoy, who started in the office at 16 years of age, strengthened the society preserving the values and the guarantee of flavor and quality.

Mª Carmen González, from 1993, took over management in 2012. It is from that moment that Pernils Bufalvent has lived its greatest period of growth and international recognition. Thanks to their invaluable dedication to customer service, contribution to the sector and its international recognition.

This dedication has led for the second year in a row to be recognized for its work with the iTQi (International Taste and Quality Institute) award.
